-Deadhead annuals and perennials to encourage reblooming.
-Remove any brown foliage from spring bulbs
-Hold off on spreading fertilizer during periods of drought.
-Inspect plants for bug damage and fungus. Use an insecticide, fungicide or 3 & 1 (fungicide,miticide,insecticide) to control/prevent damage
-Raise the blade on mowers to keep the grass at a height of 3-4 inches. The taller grass will retain more moisture.
-Water all potted plants daily, some may need to be watered several times a day.
-Keep beds clear of weeds and re-apply Preen to keep new weeds from germinating.
-If you have grubs in your lawn treat them with a curative such as Bayer 24 hour Grub Killer
